The Maintenance Manager is responsible for the general administration, coordination and management of all maintenance, renovation works in the terminal, sites and residences to avoid service delivery lapses. The Maintenance Manager is also responsible for providing expert advice to management on all maintenance related matters.


  • Plans and monitors routine maintenance checks for all terminal and residences/facility
  • Coordinate day to day maintenance works, jobs scheduling and work flow for all maintenance staff
  • Provide technical advice and support to management on all maintenance projects and related issues
  • Respond to all emergencies and maintenance requests as they arise in all locations
  • Manage the maintenance budget; monitor and control labour, material and equipment expenses
  • Ensure timely remittance of contractors/vendors and other payments to avoid work interruptions
  • Lead budget development and obtain management approval on all maintenance works
  • Prepare cash flows for all maintenance works
  • Liaises with vendors to ensure effective cost control measures and timely delivery on all services
  • Drive planning and scheduling for maintenance activities in collaboration with other relevant officers
  • Coordinate and manage maintenance projects, teams and other resources to ensure time, code, quality and other set target are met
  • Provide technical support for project management
  • Drive the achievement of established maintenance milestones and ensure that maintenance projects are delivered on time and within the approved budget
  • Monitor and ensure adequacy of manpower and equipment for construction activities
  • Maintain and enforce good maintenance standards and quality control plan
  • Ensure the implementation and adherence to HSE procedures and safe work practices
  • Monitor and ensure adherence to appropriate procedures, practices, work methods, as well as the applicable regulations, standards, and building codes
  • Lead and manage the maintenance teams and their activities
  • Facilitate team development; manage performance

  • Bachelor’s degree in Estate Management, Engineering or a relevant discipline
  • Relevant postgraduate degree and professional qualification would be added advantage
  • 15 years related experience in Project Management & Facilities Maintenance with at least 5 years’ experience in the Oil & Gas industry
